    ´╗┐High school track coaches honored The Louisiana Track and Field Coaches Association presented its Lifetime Achievement Award to four coaches: Episcopal's Claney Duplechin, Dominican's Paul Garvey, Menard's Wally Smith and Jewel Sumner's Jay Stuckey. A tribute Longtime basketball coach Terry Reed died at age 63 on Jan. 13 in his hometown of Hot Springs, Ark. Reed coached high school basketball for 17 years in Arkansas, Louisiana, Illinois and Indiana. He worked as an college assistant at Southern Mississippi, the University of New Orleans, Iowa State, Eastern Oklahoma College and Henderson State. Reed also was an offensive consultant to Tim Floyd at Southern California and worked numerous camps at LSU. Reed was an NAIA All American at Arkansas' Ouachita Baptist. His son, Neil Reed, a former East Jefferson, Indiana University and Mississippi player, died several months ago.
